Journey with TrioTel Communications, Inc.

At the 53rd Annual Meeting, held on Thursday, September 17th, 2009 McCook Cooperative Telephone Company members were presented with the Plan of Reogranization. The plan included three parts. First it called for merging Emery Cablevision, Tri-County Telcom, Inc, and Hanson Communications into McCook Cooperative Telephone Company. Company Structure

Second, the plan asked for customers of Tri-County Telcom, Inc. (Emery and Clayton) to be voted into the Cooperative. Finally under the plan, McCook Cooperative Telephone Company will be renamed TrioTel Communications, Inc. New Company Structure

In conjunction with the merger, the Board of Directors will still consist of seven members, comprised of one director from the areas of Alexandria, Canova, Center, Salem, Spencer, Winfred, and an At-large director from any exchange.

Members voted to pass the Plan of Reorganization, which will take effect January 1st, 2010.

In anticipation of the upcoming changes our employees and your Board of Directors have embarked on a journey. We are looking to the future and expecting great advancements to your cooperative, and we ask for your support as we journey to the future with TrioTel.
